This is part of what Urine Therapy is all about.

According to Wikipedia, Urine Therapy is described as: In alternative medicine, the term urine therapy (also urotherapyurinotherapy or uropathy) refers to various applications of human urine for medicinal or cosmetic purposes, including drinking of one’s own urine and massaging one’s skin with one’s own urine. While there are no known health benefits of such therapeutic use for urine, some chemical components of urine do have some well known commercial and other uses, likeurea and urokinase.

What prompted this? Well, I’m working on my Raw Nutrition Certification and last night this was the subject that was discussed.

Let’s get something straight though. I’ve never tried it. Not as therapy. There was one time when I was a kid that I tried it out of curiosity (don’t tell me you haven’t). I still remember the taste.

It was nasty.

But, that’s besides the point.

So, I’m trying to be more open minded about the whole drinking it idea, but I’m not quite there yet. However, I’m more open with the idea of using it on the skin to cure skin conditions such as acne, herpes, eczema, etc. The biggest thing is how it may be able to fight cancer.

How does it work?

The kidney’s secrete chemicals into the body to help you heal whatever is wrong with your system, inside and out. It is released into the urine stream and this is how it exits the body. So, using the urine as your own personal antibody rescue liquid would be idea, since your body knows exactly what it needs to cure itself.

Makes sense, right?

I’m also open to the idea of using it as an enema for cancer patients. I’ve heard it can really make your skin glow and that it works wonders too.

Heard is the key word here.
