Ranch Zucchini Chips

My favorite ways to eat zucchini is to slice them up, put ranch style seasoning on them and throw them into the dehydrator.

Easy and so tasty!

Ranch Zucchini Chips

3 Zucchini, thinly sliced
1 tsp. Pink Hymalayan Salt or Celtic Sea Salt
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Dried Dill
1/4 tsp. Kelp Granules

First, take the zucchini and slice off one of the ends. You can keep the other end in tack so you have something to hold onto while slicing it. 

Here is what a Mandoline looks like. You don’t have to use one. You can cut the zucchini with a knife instead, I just find this to be much faster and a bit more fun as well. Minus the risk of slicing your fingers off. Just be careful, okay.

Slice away using a downward motion. It’s easier that way. Trust me.

Here are all the pretty slices.

I put the dehydrator tray over the sink because this can get a little messy. You can also put a towel underneath your tray or just make a mess on the counter. Doesn’t matter to me.

I use my handy dandy pump oil sprayer for this as well. If you don’t have one, you can use a pastry brush.

 Spread the zucchini out on the trays (1 zucchini = 1 tray) and give them a very very light coating of oil.

Flip and repeat.

Just once.

For each tray.

Just get both sides.

Mix together the herbs.

This is what they look like all mixed up. It smells even better.

Lightly sprinkle the herbs on both sides of the zucchini slices. You don’t need much because dehydrating brings out the flavor in food, so go light.

Into the dehydrator they go and in about 8 hours you will have a delicious snack that you can’t get enough of. Even the kids love them!

Can eating chips taste any better? I think not.
